|

I just received Center Stage by The Ford Brothers - an excellent recording, by the way. But the strangest thing has happened. This CD had 8 tracks on it the first time I put it in a CD player and now the last track, Lovin' Cup, has disappeared.
I've tried 3 different CD player and the CD now only shows 7 tracks!!
Has anybody else had trouble with this CD? |

Well, I just answered my own question.
It turns out that Lovin' Cup, which is listed as track 8, is really part of track 7, listed as Up From the Streets. It starts at 8:50 into track 7 so you can't advance right to it by hitting the >>| button.
How strange. Does anyone have a copy that's burned correctly? |

I mean burned in the legitimate-CD-purchased-from-Amazon sense, not a bootleg, if that's what you mean.
Another Fine Day, track 2, is a Volker Strifler tune and it might be my favorite one on the CD. So much so that I just ordered his CD from Blue Rockit.
I love the whole recording and I can't wait to get the DVD when it becomes available. |

I got a video of that show with pantomiming Volker. So the CD is the same mis-mix? |

Volker's mixed hard left and Robben's hard right. If you can't hear Volker it might be a problem with your stereo. And my copy also doesn't have a track 8. Bizarre. |
