Dan,
I spoke with Gregg's road manager about the AUDIO recording policy and have good news for you.
In the GA&F organization, since recording IS allowed in the Allman Brothers band, and it would cause too much conflict to stop recording in the "Friends" configuration, they DO allow (but do not encourage) audio recording. So, it appears your recording IS authorized and you may go ahead and use it.
However, visual recording is still very much a no-no.

I'd like both the wav and the mp3 formats...
How was this recording made?  Is the quality good?
Why not just do an Instant Live, say, at their last show in the Chicago House of Blues? I'd buy a dozen copies!

On The Gear Page it was mentioned that several folks had sophisticated recording set ups with boom mics 10 feet in the air. According to the posts there, Gregg does not object to personal use recordings but draws the line at internet posting.
How can we be sure we're staying within the lines?

I am not sure what the policy is... It might be GA&F only...
I am hoping to be able to post the tracks here for members of this board!
