I'm a Japanese RF's fan.
Please tell me the words of 'Tired of talking'.
What does Robben sing before "it's like the blind leading the blind"?
I hear a word 'much' or something......
Sorry for my BAAAAAD English.

Baby I'm out of breath, we're talkin' our selves to death
And nothing seem to change, maybe it's best if we parted
It's like the blind leading the blind,
we're even further behind than when we started
I'm tired of talkin', guess it's time to go

Baby I'm so confused and feeling a little bruised
When all we do is fight, we can't help but feel down hearted
It's like the blind leading the blind
Even further behind then when we started
I'm tired of talkin', guess it's time to go

Baby I'm out of breath, we're talkin' ourselves to death
And nothing seem to change, maybe it's best if we parted
It's like the blind leading the blind
Even further behind then when we started
I'm tired of talkin', guess it's time to go

Smile

Thank you very much Andy!!!

I have a lyrics.
But, when I listen to a live version of 'Tired of talking',
I hear something Robben singing just before "It's like the blind leading the blind".
I mean it is between "maybe it's best if we parted " and "It's like the blind leading the blind".
Thank you anyway,Andy!!

Hi Blue Moon -

Are you referring to the "Authorized Bootleg" version of the song?

I've been listening to the studio version, it's got a KILLER guitar solo!!! Very Happy

I think maybe on the second verse Robben sings:

"Too much like the blind leading the blind..."

Hey, it's rock n' roll...you can make up your own words!!!

Smile

When and where are you playing? If it's not too far away, I might come and see your show. Who are you playing with?

I love this song too. Good luck, I feel for your drummer. That little break that Tom does right after "cause it's time to go", is really hard to swing though the way he does. I've seen some really top notch drummers stumble though that part. Hil does it pretty close to the record and gets though it well. But there's something about Tom's loopy swing that just fits with the riff Robben is playing. Even great drummers like Vinnie or Billy Johnson clash with that riff.

Not to mention the 8th note triplets that Roscoe plays in that measure...the whole thing sounds like the train might wreck...then on the next "1" beat everything is MAGICALLY back in the groove again!!! Very Happy

Yep...it's a GREAT song!!!
