Daved,

I have a question for ya....
I am having problems with my tone being sucked dry. What I mean by that is the signal between my guitar to my amp is really being drained when I put anything in between the two such as pedals.

My setup: I run my guitar into a Vox Wah - Fulltone Fulldrive II - Ernie Ball Volume pedal then to my amp. I know the EB Volume Pedal has a little to do with this problem.

Does placement of the Volume Pedal matter?

I have even tried shortening my cables as much as I could.

Any suggestions to help eliminate this problem?

I use a Boss TU2 as first pedal in the row. It does something to the sound that I like and you can use a lot of pedals after it.
