I wonder what inspired Robben or what were the events that contributed to these songs:-

Hand in Hand with the blues
Bonnie

Anyone have any thoughts on this.

I'd like Robben's perspective on this, especially as "Hand in Hand With the Blues" is my absolute favorite RF tune.
