After a long RF board break, I felt I had to call out to all Robben fans and say hello again. I just dusted off my copy of Handful of Blues and took a long overdue close listen to this record. This record has some insane musicianship waiting to be rediscovered. Listen to Tom Brechtlein's groove on running out on me. Just focus in on the ride. This one is going to be in my car for a long time. outnotes

Not what I'd call Robben's old stuff, but one of my favorite records. "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" has always been a favorite of mine. That second solo knocks me out every single time.
