I went to see Jonny Lang at the Detroit Opera House. What a great venue. I remember a few years back when a group of Detroit Artists donated their time to repaint all the ornate plaster relief there... The concert was great....while I don't think he's anywhere close to RF for skill, he has 20 years yet to catch up.......and lots of energy, with that great voice. If you get a chance to see him, I think you'd like it. He did a great Skat with his guitar (is that what you call the voice thing??ha ha), and also him and his Sax player did a little talking to eachother. This might be presumptious for a non player to say ......but I think he would benefit alot from a RF clinic!!! He needs to smooth out his slower leads., Bye all...........
if you listen to that old Robben Ford records you will see all the skills were already there, what came after was fine tuning. Johnny Lang is old enough so I belief he will never make it that far
