I want to learn how to play "Lovin' Cup" as a solo, instrumental, fingerpicking piece. Can anyone help me please? _________________ Travelling by train of thought

Lovin' cup is a wonderful song. It is tricky, but also rather simple. The only way to learn it is to learn it off the CD. In other words, don't waste your time trying to get it from a written transcription.
The main riff is the trickiest part. The best way to learn it is to slow it down and listen to it little by little. You can use a tape player that plays at 1/2 speed or better yet there's software or inexpensive units (like the Fostex guitar trainer) that slow it down without changing the pitch. That's the best way to go. Once you slow it down, it's not really that tough.
The rest of the song is fairly simple. Mostly E7 chords and A7 chords at the 1st fret. Occasionally, you can replace the E7 with a cool little blues chord move that involves a B at the 4th fret/third string, a D at the 3rd fret/second string and the open E on top. It sounds cool to slide into this as a chord or pluck each note individually.
Anyway, hope that helps!
By the way, I feel that Cannonball Shuffle is a fun one to learn as well.
