very strange. I was and still am the one who disagree the way Kirk kidnapped the old board for his own purposes, and i don't mind if his first motivation is Love of the Music(good) or the guitar (bad) or love of money (bad) or love of the guitar player (good !). Well i don't mind but i'm still disagreing. Not to mention sometimes i am disagregating myself reading this board (or not, but that's a whole other story). So here we are , people
come , and ask tapes .G 12 65, Bakers. I can't believe you can't get a Squier Esprit in Canada. I mean i am french and i have an Esprit ; and you can't get a squier in canada , i am sorry you must live in Toronto not in Montreal. Yersterday i jammed with a guy who owned a JCM 800 Combo from the 90's with 2 Very well looking G 12 65 , with A BIG logo on telling G 12 65. I burst out laughing telling the guy (who is not cyber at all) there were a big fuss about speakers in the cyber space and thanks god he laughed too.
Actually we have to face a major addiction to zen drive, what a big deal, and some people ask for themselves why others are raving about shoes & shirts?????I can't believe how crappy.
A lot of you made a big fuss about KATARINA and nobody asks RoadWarrior how bad was the last one in West Florida ( By the Way ???? Road how are you ) ????????? DEAF DUMB & BLIND.
Well i assume i faced a little nervous breakdown , you are lucky i like the snappy way just like i am playing guitar but (double lucky) i can't focus not too long when practicing english ( too make a long story short you are very lucky i can't make my point more clearly).
Now an other point i am very nosy about and i don't care if it is not politically Korrekt. How many of you members are black people ?
Yes that is . For me Robben Ford is a bluesman and i love the way he feels the blues. A few people are really connected , once again i can't express myself good but if you see : Jimi Hendrix played with White people way back, and at the same time Jeff Beck was having fun with stevie Wonder. it's Kind of unique. Robben did it too. The real blend.I say this because as you might understood the fusion stuff is not my cup of tea while i get a BIg pleasure to listen Robben in any kind of music. Not to mention that when Robben is playing he always reach the stars whatever the tools, coz i realized this week that the the real thing , the almighty graal is not even in the fingers, it is in your heart.
That is why practice is necessary to train the brain to give orders to the hands not the contrary. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748

Bluelobster: You don't seem to understand. If I can just get the absolute correct settings on my ZenDrive ... and get a real Baker guitar .. and get Alexander Dumble to loan me one of his amps ... and hit just the right intervals on those chords ... THEN my hair will grow back, my 8th-grade girlfriend will fly out from New York and aplogize to me (in front of everyone), that dog that ran away when I was 14 will come back, AND the Beatles will get back together and play a concert in my home town. For free! If I can just ... _________________ - BlueRunner

Ok , i calm down But where are our black brothers
Hi Ed good to hear from you, Blue gave some serious stuff to think about(the f#$îççg dog ran away). And yes this board is serious for me it is like a sinking ship where you have to kick off the water as soon it's comin' up. Very tiring. You could almost nickname myself Jude as i can't help but carrying the world over my shoulders, that is why actually i am still striving to get a good impersonation of "nothing to nobody" a really great "white contemporary" blues where the autor stresses the dark sides of life, or just what others call duties, and if you get a close ear you can almost find an analogy with "the thrill is gone" but as we say in France "everybody can see Noon chiming in his place". Then i will survive working on "the way you treated me" a real gem , a masterpiece for a dork like me with
3 grooves interlocking each others .
Then RIP Roseta Parks . It's funny actually in France we have some riots going on around Paris, police running after black people and getting mean and at the same time TV tell us to remember Miss Parks. Can you see the total insanity of that , a country unable to make integration working well praising the people to remember American people who fight for their integration while our police (majority white, politically kkk) is still beating the shit out of this people................... Hu hu , some serious stuff to get the blues................... _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748

P.S. RoadWarrior- I hope you had a safe trip up here in New England. I promise you, the next time you're up this way, we're going out to have some fun!
And, we'll be toasting our "brere" the Bluelobster. Ok? _________________ Soul on Eleven

Blobby, believe it or not, and this coming from a white American (I hate that label), being a "black brother" doesn't have to mean having brown skin. I grew up in the 60's and early 70's. I lived inner-city, on a one block ethnic European street surrounded by a black community. I had lots of black friends. .... Funny, how I wasn't white to them, even though I kept my own identity. ......I was me, and they were them. But, in the end, we were brothers. No colors involved...........
Blobby, I love you! And, PEACE!
!
Ah Johnny you are really making my night , i love you too and i mean it.
that is all i wanted to read you know . I have really some pain to express my feeling but it is good to me to hear about your experience. Like i edited my original post , France is driving in the wall , within 10 years we might have the same than WATTS or even L.A 92 if you see what i am talking about.
I was living in L.A from 89 to fall 90 ( OK that is not the best place to live but for a would have been guitar hero it is the mecca, and for a french guy who love U.S.A since age of 6 it sounds like heaven, even if one of my dudes told me to go to Ojaî which i never did at that time - and i think it was way before Robben get there ) and i was very surprised by the fact that i was teached at school America was a Melting Pot, but in fact in town everybody , each community was really all apart from the others (but once again L.A might not be the right choice to discuss this point). But now i can't get clear enough so i'm goona do a short cut : I love this picture of Robben wailing on this fat gibson among black people and this huge guy grinning at him like a witch looking a broom going mad . That is the way i like it, it is FUNKY, it smells Blood, it smells tears, it smells sweat, it smells sperm, it is totally seminal. Well , later on . _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=147748

Hi Blob Thanks for asking ! The storm missed Tampa and hit South Florida.
I'm bummed they had to cancel the Ft. Lauderdale/Riverwalk Blues Festival, which was supposed to be this upcoming weekend, but that's nothing compared to the pain that this season's hurricane victims experienced. _________________ Travelling by train of thought
