I called my local music store to make sure they would have Robben's new CD tonight for their midnight sale. They said it was the only cd with a 10/7 release date that they didn't receive. So I just called a bunch of other stores and they said the same thing. Anyone know what's up? _________________ "make visible what, without you, might not have been visible before" |

I can tell you that I called Best Buy this morning and they said its in their system (3,000 copies) but none of the stores in my area had any shipped to them. So I called Border's who had it in stock, they held a copy, and I just picked up and am listening to it (Peace, Love, and Understanding) as I type. So its out there, don't give up!

Didn't have a problem in Wisconsin getting it !!!!
Just make sure you get it ASAP.......simply Robben's best offering in the
last 10 yrs !!!!
He's on a roll...this is EXACTLY what the music industry is missing,
a legitimate artist that makes MUSIC !!!!!! |

I found mine at Media Play in west Denver. Best Buy claimed on Thursday, October 9th that none of their Colorado stores had a copy, but that they could have it shipped.
Now I believe I'm starting to understand why Robben doesn't sell very many CDs - they aren't being distributed to the places people go to buy them! Give me a fuckin' break - it is just ridiculous that I had to search so hard for Keep On Running. Get a clue, Concord! _________________ Work hard, play harder

|
|
I bought my "Keep on Running" at the SF Blues Festival, but have gone into several of the record retailers in my area to see if it is available. Not one store has it, although they say they can order it. It makes me so irritated. No wonder someone suggested I should do publicity for Robben. It is really hard to generate support for an artist whose work is non-existent in most music stores. I remember the 1960s, going into music stores and requesting non mainstream music...even then they would order a few copies. I would think Concord records would have a vested interest in marketing Robben's material. Come on guys, get going! _________________ www.elizabethgage.com |

Incredible that you folk have so many problems getting this CD in the U.S!
I don't think it has something to do with Concord Records, though. Rather a distribution problem. In holland the CD was available last friday in my local record shop, bonus trach included! |
