Hi,

Please look at this photo
http://www.dhenderson.com/Robben%20AL/pages/Robben%206_jpg.htm

I have exact Baker -- same color everything #778 --- however i have a dip switch to split pick-up.

I was wondering what the dial on RF's Baker is for (I have a dip switch in same location) and is there a wiring schematic available?

thanks

Laz

Do you mean the Varitone?

If yes, check out the Gibson site for models es335 and bbking lucille.

Yes, Robben had the varitone removed from his 335 waaaayyyyy back when and hung onto it. We experimented for a while with Gene putting it in that guitar.

Hmm, don't 335's just have a pickup switch? I used to have one called a 335TD that had a tap switch on the lower bout. But I thought that Varitone's only came on the 345 and 355 "upscale" models. The 335 Robben's holding on the cover of "The Inside Story" shows a conventional sunburst 335. I've heard some stories of this guitar passing from Robben's hands into various others, but don't know how true they are.

Sorry, meant his 355.
Very easy to get 'dyslexic' with all those combinations of 3's, 4's, & 5's.

I knew thay didn't come on 335's but I thought maybe Robben had modified one. I have that on my Blueshawk and I really like it.
