Dunno....I bought it from a internet buddy here in Italy (he lurks here sometimes). The body is Warmoth, the neck is hand-made by a local luthier and the Fender logo is a fake!

The nut and bridge are graphite.

The colour is vintage white nitro. He had the guitar made when he was going through his "Robben-phase".

I'm buying it without the pickups since I have my Kinman Broadcasters lying around. Actually, that was the prime reason for buying the guitar - I was looking for a low cost "house" for the Kinmans. And perhaps a Tele with more of a vintage feel. I like the contoured back as well.

I was planning of getting a new amp or a new pc, but my existing amp has sounded quite good recently and I might buy the pc a bit later.

What is that amp behind the axe? Is that yours too? If that is an American standard brass bridge plate, I can't say enough about swaping it for a Callaham. Especially if you're going to on the bridge pup much.

Gotta love it. A Mike Bloomfield special.

Steve,

The amp belongs to the seller. It looks like a Vibrolux.

The bridge is a "no-name" one, probably from stew-mac or warmoth.

What's the deal with the Callaham bridges?

Thanks Marin, I hope this link works. Just to make everybody jealous of my fake Tele: it's made from parts I had around for quite some time, so when I stepped over a really cheap and light weight swamp ash body and a maple neck I screwed and soldered this one together and it turned out a really good guitar. I lacquered it with shellac so you could call it a bio-tele

Your welcome. Ed. Smile

the Tele looks great and older than some of those 54' Leo thingies. ;)
