Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of Joe Burns?
I happened across his site and music while helping my over-stressed daughter who is Berklee College of Music student, and an editor for the Berklee Music Business Journal...as I was helping her to research music current events, I happened onto Joe Burns music, and I am really enjoying what I am hearing. I am not a guitar player myself and have no technical opinions on his playing, gear, etc...but I think he is worth a listen.

I am hoping this NY native, who now resides in Texas, will find himself performing somewhere close to Vermont because I would love to check his show out.

I particularly like a few songs like: "Rememberance" off of his 1st cd "Road Runner", as well as his latest cd "Things aint what they seem", the album title and one of my favorites...so far. Also, "Let me Be"...another favorite.
I am thinking of heading out to the music store and picking up a copy for my collection, as I have only listened through his website. Check it out.

I hope all is well...thanks again for checking out my posts on here, and for the great links and information.

Oh yes...one more thing. I was recently browsing an antique store in search of the ever elusive, non- harmony model Stella guitar, and happened to pick up a vintage National acoustic flat top guitar for a very special man in my life...It is a 1954 model. It is just an acoustic style
14 fret, not the resonator type much sought after it seems.
If anyone knows anything about these guitars, there value, etc...I would love to know...thanks!

Victoria
