Look at Matt's website http://www.mattschofield.com/home.php and you will find out that he's touring in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. On april 29th there will be a radio broadcast in the Netherlands. In june and july he has planned a tour in US. Check it out!
I will attend his show in Paradiso/Amsterdam upcoming Friday. Greg Koch, Roscoe Beck and Joe Bonamassa are there the same evening. Gonna have a party that night!

Paradiso is a great venue to play and to listen. Greg Koch (w/Roscoe Beck) was the supporting act for Joe Bonamassa. Greg is a great player and flavoured his playing with some sense of humour. But the overall sound wasn't so good.
Joe Bonamassa was awesome. He's playing the guiter with a great feeling and tone. Besides he's a great singer and performer too. The audience was very enthousisastic.
For me, Matt was the top of the bill. Although he was playing in a smaller room of Paradiso, his trio was really smoking. Matt told me that they all were inspired by the Blue Line. Especially the time Bill Boublitz joined the Blue Line. Roscoe was there at Matt's gig and he really seems to enjoy the compete show, knowing that these young guys will take the fire a little further in the line of Bloomfield, Ford and other great musicians.

Thanks Henk, I enjoyed Matt's music a lot. Hopefully they will be able to reschedule their US tour and play Tampa sometime!

What CD of Matt's do you reccomend first, and for what reason?

Cheers,
