First of all, thank you Mrs. Ford for lending us your husband, I was the guy that looked like Santa's little brother that was in front of Michael right up against the stage Thursday night. I must say that I am absolutely speechless after catching both shows. I have never heard of Michael Landau before, but the combination of you two is pure heaven. Michael even stuck around and talked to people and I hope Mrs. Ford's birthday celebration was good, because they got out of there after midnight. I wanted to say hi, but knew you were trying to get out of there and I will say hi, next time you come to Seattle. BTW I caught your show last summer at Jazz Alley, all my life I lived in or near Seattle and it takes a Robbin Ford show to get me there, I have attended at least one show a month since then.
I must say that Roscoe Beck is my favorite bass player, but with this line up, with Michael Landau I wasn't missing him at all. I thought that this new bass player did exactly what was needed to get the job done and the feeling of this being a band was amazing considering this was your very first concert with the new band.
If you guys get to see this, it is a jaw dropper even for Robbin Ford
