Dave,
Gald you're back!
To the best of your knowledge does Robben's Dumble have the HRM circuit in it? It's been suspected that his earlier Dumbles did not and the 90's version did. If so does he Mr. Dumble tweak the HRM setting from time to time for Robben. It's also suspected that his current Dumble might be a BluesMaster version. Can you confirm?

Rod,
At the risk of embarressing myself in front of all you gear heads, I must honestly admit that I do not think I know what the "HRM circuit" or a "BluesMaster" Dumble is.
I'm not an engineer or amp geek, just a tech with enough basic tron knowledge to keep up and running whatever amp Robben chooses to use on the road.
But that's OK, 'cause I don't think Robben knows either. He just knows he likes them and loves playing them.
What I DO know, is that Alexander has told me in the past that one of the primary 'mods' that he later (after he developed it and Robben had owned the amps for a while) installed, was a "Skyliner EQ" ("I named it that because the wave form looks like the building skyline in a city." - Alexander Dumble), which is not in all of his Overdrives.
And, the times I have taken the heads in for general servicing and tube changes, I have never seen him tweak anything other than bias voltages, tho he does check several voltages and waveforms throughout to make sure that all sections of the amp are operating properly, everytime he opens it up. _________________ B C-ing U!
