Robben Ford Discussion

If any of you Robben fans have the option of seing him play in a small venue I recomend you attend for sure. I have seen him play quite a number of times. While playing in the bay area a few years back I found myself at front and center stage getting the ultimate guitar lesson!! After Robben completed his last set and was ready to walk off I asked Robben if he wouldent mind autographing my guitar. He responded with "What the hell is that? in a joking manner as I produced from my jacket, a pickguard off my tele. I replied that I dident want to look like a dork bringing the whole guitar in. He laughed and replied "cool" he signed my guitar and gave me the set list taped to the floor as well as the pick he just finnished playing with!!! How COOL! It's not often you get to inter act with your guitar idol... The pick is now framed with the song list in my pratice room. Where I can admire it. Besides being one of the baddest players on the globe and my personal guitar idol it's nice to know he's a cool guy as well...
