Stumbled on this forum on a search for RF's tone. Been a fan since Talk to Your Daughter album but was never able to grasp "the Tone". I'm a member of Birds and Moons and Gear forums as a PRS player, so with my new zendrive I'm working my way to tonal bliss. Hopefully I'll pick up some great tips and info from forum members. BTW I'm a general contractor/remodeler operating out of the Jersey Shore. Nice to be here.

Welcome, Marshall!

You've come to the right place. I think you'll find the level of discussion here much higher than on Birds and Moons. Do some searching because you'll find lots of great discussions in the archives.

Cool gemal: Welcome aboard!

And come on out here. We have a bathroom that needs to be demolished and replaced with something that doesn't constantly ellicit "Oh how cute ... 1954!" from our visitors.

You'll find everything here from general silliness to some amazing contributions from well-travelled and well-written working musicians. You can go from how to alter a blues or jazz standard while functioning with diminished chords to how to light a barbecue while functioning under diminished capacity, with just the click of a mouse.
