Hi there!
I recorded real quick some guitar-ideas onto a funky track with my friends band (it doesn't have a guitar player).
Please comment away...
There are two versions, both of them include the same rhythm guitar with a kind of Leslie effect on it, with a midi expression pedal controlling the speed of the lesie.
Coffeeshop01.mp3 Does have more a distored kind of lead.
Coffeeshop02.mp3 The lead here is less distored, a kind of John Scofield type of sound if you will?

I like "02" better because of the way it works with the vocals. It's brighter sounding and keeps the vocals in balance.
It's a great song! It reminds me of a funky band from Vermont (USA) -- Belizbeha. They always had a bubble machine at their gigs and they would fill the air with millions of bubbles. _________________ Travelling by train of thought
And the amps are Mesa Boogies. V-twin rack preamp and 50/50 poweramp and two 1x12" Boogie cabinets. I was kinda surprised how "fat" the sound came out...
There's a bit of a funny story about the guitar solo, the solo is played with the guitar on my lap (like Jeff Healey plays the guitar!). The producer wanted something different so he got what he wanted
Looking forward to hear your feedback! Thanks a lot!
