I watched two great videos with Robben on YouTube and wondered about the group........Russ Ferrante, Will Lee, Bob Malach, Alex Acuna, etc. Was this a predecessor to The Yellowjackets? Or, the very original? I know one thing...........I Put A Spell On You & Help The Poor were absolutely fantastic! This is "soulful" to the max!

Ya great band, I'm sure that this is much later than Robben era Yellowjackets though and likely after the Talk To your Daughter era. Probably a one time gig put together for that show. Jimmy Haslip is the original Yellowjackets bassist and the Fender Robben Ford model was not yet invented when Robben was with them in the early years.
