I don't think Robben even knows yet, but Dal (his manager) has just informed me that Robben has been nominated for a Grammy award this year. _________________ B C-ing U!

I just read that John Mayer and John Fogerty have also been nominated this year. _________________ "Creativeness often consists of merely turning up what is already there. I haven't heard any of the other artists' albums, but I'm guessing that the winner will be either Joan Armatrading or JJ Cale & Eric Clapton because of name recognition/popularity... |

Doyle Bramhall's "Is it news" is also nominated in the same category as Robben's.
Yeah -just like the previuos post said it- that was the first thought that came to my mind, JJ Cale & Clapton are the most popular therefore the most likely to win.
Bummer.
Truth is phenomenal, though. It deserves to win. |

Well i really hope NoT , but who do i think i am to tell about my 2 whatever cents you want. Bleeeeech , i'm the naughtster, so joan armatrading did it in france in the eighties but ithink she didn't make it anymore after 2 albums ..... and Clapton come on gimme a break for once. Nowadays Clapton it's like the Paul Newman salads dressing. you canput it everywhere.JJ Cale must be still thankful with thecocain exposure. What i can't figure out for sure is why Robben was not invited to play the crossroads festival, being such a huge clapton fan (cf.politicians)............So while wishing the best to Robben ( to get one and not being the ever nominated) i will say Doyle Bramhall will fit all the stuff pairing with such an event : a name, a real talent, & more.
Let's wait & see |

Johnny i've been lucky enough to live one year in L.A , an achievment for a french moron a would have been ultimate blues rockstar , but french a day french always , in this case salad dressing somedays was like a sarcastic blessing . Kinda huGe relief when you get off Baked Potatoe & let's say Mike Landau & co around 11 pm then you get back from the valley and head to the ralph to get more fun than food............Wow |
