The fact that Robben has never played it much, and isn't playing it anymore, speaks volumes.
I am sure it is a very fine Telecaster, but it isn't worth much more than any other Fender Masterbuilt guitar in my estimation. |

In the description, it's mentioned that it's a shorter scale neck, 24.75", like a Les Paul rather than the standard 25.5" Tele neck. I've always wondered what the playing difference (and/or any other difference) is between the two lengths. Can someone please explain? Thanks. |

I remember seeing the same guitar on Ebay a fey years back, but it was running for 2-3000$, if I remember well. It was also featured in one of the Fender history books I saw.
IMHO 20.000$ is wishful thinking, unless a dot.com millionaire turns up.

Thanks. | With the same size/gauge set of strings on both guitars, the longer string (scale) is tighter when tuned to the same note as the shorter string. This can feel a little stiffer (kinda like a heaver gauge maybe) and is more resistant to bends. |

I thinka Robben was pictured with that Tele in a Guitar Player issue from the 90's. |
