Robben Ford Discussion

[Blue Kind]

I've been listening to the version on Mystic Mile and the video on Youtube. The song is a basic blues tunes but I'm having a hard time getting all the extension Robben is using on the turn arounds. His voice leading is so great but sometimes its hard to figure out what chords or parts of chords he is actually playing. I think he is using a I-vi-ii-V for the chage but can't get the augmentations. Anyone have any details or some ideas??

Mostly triads here. first two are: D9 (fifth fret) Db#9, F#triad(7th fret)Bb bass, A13, Abaug. Sometimes Robben will play the bass note on things, sometimes the chord is implied with the major notes within the chord itself.

Thanks. That fills in the blank and has allowed me to get the rest of the little changes he does. Sometimes one chord gets everything rolling!!
