A head's-up for folks in SoCal. Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will be appearing on Friday night June 15 at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. Check out www.fordamphitheatre.org or www.tickets.com for more info.
For those of you who have never been there, the Ford is a wonderful venue. It seats only about 1200, and the summer season is full of neat stuff. A few years ago we heard Robben there with the "Yellowjackets Reunion," and the opening act was Anne, with Roger Kellaway on piano and Robben on classical guitar. I keep asking them to come back down again. Maybe some day. In the meantime, Derek and Susan will have to do.
