Hello everyone. Fairly new to this site, although I have been a big fan and concert goer of Robben's for about 15 years now. Just in case anybody would like to know, I just came back from this year's Berks JaZZ Fest in Reading, PA - close to Philadelphia. It is the best indoor jazz fest in the entire country, hands down. Fabulous every year. As part of the festival, they always have at least 2-3 Blues artists as part of the festival. I am a member of the Berks Arts Council and for at least the past 5 years, I have had a face to face talk with the General Manager of the Festival, who does all the booking. Every year, I ask him to please book Robben Ford at the festival to do a show. Well - Good news for all you RF fans on the east coast, who never get to see Robben that much to begin with. When I met John Ernesto, the General Manager, at the festival this year, before I could even get the question out of my mouth for the 6th year in a row, John said to me -" He'll be here next year"!! I am holding John to that. So, you can look forward to seeing Robben at the 2008 Berks Jazz Fest. He will be there sometime between March 28 and April 6. Enjoy it everyone. I personally would like to see him play again with Roscoe and Tommy.
