hello everybody, I've been reading this forum for a while and decided it's time to post
I'm a 21 year old guitar student/player from holland.. I started to get to know Robben music about a year ago when I was looking for some more "intelligent" blues music.. My guitarteacher told me to look up some of Robben stuff, that's were it al started.. Now I've worked my way through some of his books (hotlines, blues rythms etc..), and when searching for some info on his sound/equipment I came across this forum..
I found some interesting topics already while using the search function..Great forum! also really nice that a guy like Daved is helping the fans out with their questions!
Hope to learn some more from ya'll

Hi Bongofury,
Thanks for posting! Welcome to the group. I agree with your statement about intelligent blues. I love the way Robben takes a simple musical form and adds so much interest to it. I was at a jam session last month and used some of the chord voicings from Robben's lessons. After the jam another musician told me how much he enjoyed my "jazz chords"! Thanks, Robben! Bongofury, I hope you enjoy your time here.
Frank
