Hello Everyone,

I've got new speakers from Celestion - G12 Centurys and Celestion GOLDs to try in 2x12 cab. Century is crispy clean, very fast and very loud (103 db !) and only 2kg, I love them.
Gold is 50W version of the Alnico Blue. Sounds big, fat lows and mids, rounded sweet top and, probably the best speaker for the “Robben soud”.

Here is new cab with the Centurys and six sound clips.

SOUND SAMPLES - recorded with the Parker (Kinman hot noiseless neck /mid pickups and Kent Armstrong's Motherbucker in the bridge) and modified Blue Voodoo 50 head.

2. Neck/mid clean http://www.drika.biz/HSnmcln.mp3
3. Bridge clean http://www.drika.biz/HSbrcln.mp3
4. Neck overdrive http://www.drika.biz/HSndr.mp3
5. Bridge overdrive http://www.drika.biz/HSbrdr.mp3
6. Bridge overdrive with boost http://www.drika.biz/HSDrbr.mp3

Johnny

Sounds like we have a festival coming together here..........!!

Hope you're well and flexing those fingers. Have been trying to work some time into a tight schedule to do some blues compositions. I am still stuck in the same old grooves and wish that I could find a quick route to some of Robben's jazz progressions without having to do all the theory - I am sooooooooooo lazy..........

Maybe I'll just buy some of his DVDs and soak it all up that way.

Have a good weekend you guys
