Hello gentlemen,

I am interested in getting the transcription of 'Miles Groove' on 'Blues and Beyond' DVD.

Does the booklet that comes with the DVD contain the complete transcription? Or should I get the 'Blues and Beyond' Book instead?

Thanks very much for your help!

Alf

Yes, the included booklet with The Blues and Beyond has music and tabs for: Traditional 12 Bar Blues, Revelation, Diminished Scale Usage, Ain't Got Nothin' But The Blues, & Miles Groove.
Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly, the transcription is not complete.

Thanks guys, Smile

PierreL, how incomplete is the transcription with the DVD booklet? Is the transcription of the Book 'Blues and Beyond' (not the booklet with the DVD) complete then?

Alf,
I just looked at it and it's 58 bars long. There's a lot there.

Thanks a lot, Frank! You mean 'Miles Groove''s transcription is 58 bars long on the booklet that comes with the DVD?

Thanks Frank! What about the other pieces? Their transcriptions are about the same length? Have a good weekend! Smile

well...the book (basically) has -way-more transcribed material. Whereas the DVD (w/ booklet) has the "visual" aspect of it. I mean, it really helped ME -considerable- watching how Robben moved his fingers across the fretboard. That, and all the little extras...
