Hi Guys
Does anyone know where Robben Fords original Fender Signature model is (the one is used on Mystic Mile etc)?
Its quite a historical guitar! |

thanks Bottom Line for making it clearer,
BTW a good friend of mine who is very well informed told me that Robben himself said in an article recently that he only had one Fender RF model left and that was a newer one.
So the question remains - where's his original one?
thanks

If I had it, it would be in my gig bag! I think Blobby's got it.

cheezuz, I thought it was a hatstand and I gave it to the charity shop.......
I do find myself drooling in the manner of my life guru Homer Simpson, at the thought of owning and playing such a beast. Alas, I will have to make do with my motley but loved collection of cheapo, low-end guitars.
Maybe Sakashta San will send me a little something for Christmas! (by which I mean the whole guitar and not just a tuning peg......).

it would be great to find out where the guitar is - not only because its a legendary guitar up there with SRV's number one for me.
But it could also set the records straight - is the finish was poly or nitro and was it constructed in US or Japan?
thanks

Not sure what guitars were actually used on Mystic Mile but I don't think it was the original model (could be). Do you mean the Talk to your Daughter guitar? That one was built before there was a signature model, historical yes. lemonjefferson wrote: | Hi Guys

Garth Webber has an 80's RF signature. That's not it is it? I think I read somewhere that he got it from Robben - but I may not be remembering that right.

Garth did get his from Robben. I always wanted that color (amber). Robben played japanese ones for the most part like what's on the "Blues And Beyond" DVD. I love mine. |
