In a recent youtube video Patrick Ford stated that he thought
that Chris Cain was the best blues guitarist or something like that.
Just wondering if anyone out there agrees and what the rest of you
guys and gals think
Pesonally, I'd have to pick an old guy.
Like Buddy Guy or BB King or Albert King or Freddie King.
Probably in that order.
Partly because it's true, and also out of respect.
Blues/Jazz would be Robben of course |

I like the blues/jazz thing so it's Robben for me.
I like Hollywood Fats and Albert Collins though, too. Chris is great also, and I liked Gatemouth Brown, although he hated being called a blues man. |

Sorry. I can pick just one. There's too many good people out there. Besides, it ain't a competition.

You're right, there are quite a few good ones out there. But only a couple really stand out as exceptional, like Robben.
Having said that, have any of you seen or heard Tab Benoit? I saw him recently and was quite impressed. Your thoughts? |

I heard "Loan Me A Dime" yesterday, and it reminded me how great Duane Allman was (and still is). Just had to say this... |

THat video made me sick. Sometimes when I hear guys like that or Robben it inspires me. Other times it makes me so sick that I just want to throw my guitar away!! He is incredible. Chicken pickin at it's finest!
By the way I love Chris Cain too. I dont know if I would say he is the best but he really moves me. _________________ Jack R |
