...yep mine too!!

...hoping robben and the crew will be on form too, went to the Larry Carlton one, robben had chronic flu that night so i heard, he didn't look too well...

...this time i'm up in the restaurant i've decided, looking over the stage, maybe even a quick hello to robben if the opportunity arises, no doubt the band will be up there too...

Are there any other UK dates? I'm fed up of going to the Jazz Cafe!

Was the Moscow show Robben's first concert in Russia?

Sorry, Jazz Cafe is the only UK venue this time around.

Robben is feeling quite well and upbeat. Anne is over here with him and we have a few 'vacation' days off in London before the shows this weekend.

Yes, the Moscow show was Robben's first performance in Russia. Though Brannon apparently ate something weird earlier that day and his stomach was protesting that night, the show went very well and Robben enjoyed it.

John Henry is supplying a couple of Fender Twins for Robben's use at the Jazz Cafe with his Zen pedal and I am in touch with Matt Schofield's tech about possibly using one of Matt's Super Reverbs this weekend.

Hopefully a good time will be had by all.

So Daved, I guess this means you're back on the road with Robben for this trip, yes?

Daved,

good luck with the tour, and enjoy your stay in London. It's sub zero today, so bring your winter woolies from Russia.

I am glad you got the gear sorted out for the gigs too!

Unfortunately I won't be able to get to the London gigs this time round (Cambridge would be a nice venue next time Wink ) Sad . Hopefully next time.

All the best,

DD

Yes, I am here.
Robben's decision to go without me on the last euro trip was purely a logistics/business thing and had nothing to do with me or my skills.

He and I have, of course, discussed it and I fully understand his reasons for going the way he did. There are times (especially with my Gregg Allman/Allman Bros Band gig) that I have to make similar decisions on my end. It is the nature of the business.
I am sure there will be more times when either his, or my, work schedules and requirements will hinder us from working together for brief periods again in the future.

But I am here now and Robben has assured me that I was sorely missed and that he is very glad I am out here with him on this trip.
And I, too, am glad to be here.
