Robben Ford back in Vegas for a rigorous trio show on an electrified Saturday night. RF didn't stray from the set others have described from this tour, loads of "Truth". The crowd was perfect, no talking no cameras I did not see any recording devices just smiling happy people seeing one of the coolest musicians of our time.

RF used to play Las Vegas a lot but has not been around for 5 years or so, I have gone into LA to see a couple of shows over the last 4 years. This was my 9th and rare trio gig, Gary Novak on Drums and Larry's kid Travis Carlton on Bass. Very groovy band as always with Robben.

RF jumped off the stage after the show and greeted his fans so i think he was happy with this crowd. I had to go say hello to one of my biggest influences in guitar, I thanked him for coming back to Vegas and just told him how great he is. I kept it short because of the beer intake factor, I was not going to get a good conversations going, but he was very gracious It was a huge thrill for me. Then on to say hello to Daved I said hello and told him I was rainmkr63 from the board and I asked about a set list, he pointed to Travis's monitor with a hand written set list so i promptly un-taped it and it says:

1. Deep
2. lateral
3. Indian
4. treated
5. Riley
6. deny
7. too much
8. cannon
9. never be
10. fault
11. peace
12. Love cup
13. super
14. tired

Every song was great, Riley B. King, Cannon ball, Lovein cup, supernatural were exceptional.

Thanks again for everything!
Rob

Thanks for the review Rob! It's always nice to see the setlist and band members on recent shows.
