This may be one of the best videos I've ever seen of Robben playing live.....with the Yellowjackets at an outdoor gig in North Carolina in 1979. Hard to believe he was playing like this 20 years ago..........he's just the best! Hands down! Incredible chops, rhythms, & what a feel! When I attended last years clinic that was held at Robben's house, he said to one of the attendees, "you have to feel the music".........well, he sure shows what he means in this video..........there's really no one better! Like B.B. King, Robben can play just one great note and put all the guitar shredders to shame! And, for the music reviewers who criticize his vocals, they should listen to the vocals in this performance......fantastic. And, what a great sound from that ES-335.

Yeah, that show is actually in L.A. Scott Lerner thinks that's Mike Landau on second guitar, and it does look like him. Those Boogies sound good, don't they?
