|

Hi there,
has anyone of you seen the DVD release of George Benson - Live at Montreux 1986 ?
Is this the show where Robben is playing on "On Broadway"? I have the clip George w/ Robben at home but don't know what year this is.
If this is the show, is Robben playing on other songs, too? I might buy this one then.
Thanks in advance
Greeting from Germany

Hi Michael! If you mean DVD that came out about year ago, then no -- Robben is not on it. However, Benson himself plays killer guitar on that release !! I think that based on stuff i have seen and heard, Benson was on his peak during eighties guitar wise and sadly that is very under documented. |

Uh, I think Robben's played Montreux several times... at least one other time for sure was 1982 when he played there with the Yellowjackets and also backed up others (as documented on the Casino Lights recording)... |
