Very cool - I have (or had?) the CD of this which is "Echoes of Ellington" (Part 2?).

I always dug the West Side Story ("America") reference a short while into the solo. Very cool.

Reminds me of he day (actually the same era) when I had to put a tux on twice a week to do wedding/casual gigs. Great band, great money, shxtty clothes! Most of the time I had to go the gig in casual clothes to set up and change into my tux in the bathroom stall while standing on my shoes. To this day, I HATE having to wear a tux!

They do a smokin' version of 'The Brother'. What's funny is the host's response after the song. "WOW ! that was ...that was.... loud!
