I read in GP magazine that Robben played on 2 cuts from Sonny Landreth's new record "From The Reach." Two of my absolute favorite players!

I guess Robben recorded his parts at Bryant Street Studios in Ojai, and traded tracks back and forth with Sonny.

Anybody heard this yet? I hope it's as cool as it sounds!

Actually Robben plays on one tune only. It's a really good record, full of great playing and cool tones.

Nope, Robben is on two tunes:

"Way Past Long" -- Robben's on vocals and guitar

"Blue Angel" -- Robben on guitar, Vince Gill on background vocals.

Robben is great on both tunes, and it's a very, very solid album.

Right, two tunes, he only sings on one. It's a terrific recording. It also features Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Vince Gill and Eric Johnson... Dr. John is on there too...

I stand corrected.
