Robben is so natural at being a consummate musician that it rubbed off on me. The clinic has in fact been life-changing. I will never see music (or my life for that matter) the same way. His influence has been that profound.
Robben is relaxed, humble, light-hearted and has a very good sense of humour. He is so generous with sharing his experience and knowledge, it's can't be anything less than totally inspiring. Once through the clinic, one cannot do otherwise than to approach music in a much more meaningful manner.
I thought I was a musician... but I really hadn't touched on the true essence of what it's all about.. Now, because of Robben's wise counsel, I'm on the true musician's path for real. The day has been a pivotal event in my progress as a musician.
I flew from Montreal for the clinic and it was completely worth it.
Warm thanks to Robben and Anne for such a transformative day. |

That sounds like a wonderful experience! Congratulations on getting to do it. I'm jealous!
Maybe we can Robben to consider doing a Clinic in Arkansas some day? Or, maybe nearby, like Memphis?
Anyway, it sounds like a great time. |

I know the feeling well, Scorpius.
Are you sticking around in Ojai for Robben shows on Sunday?

Well, I do have a couple of his DVDs. Including the newest (?), "Rhythm" DVD. And it's excellent! Really, every instructional release of Robben's that I've seen, has been stellar!
BUT..........
I still want to be "there" at a Clinic, as well as a Concert!, in person.
I think you can understand my wish. |
