Hello all, just dropping in after registering. My name is Frank & I'm from Missouri.
Saw Robben do a clinic & then play that night at our local yearly festival, this past Aug 15.
It was quite enjoyable, entertaining, & informative. Hadn't experienced Robben before. Man, the dude has been around forever & played w/everyone.
I will say that it really sux that even though guitar is his second instrument (to sax), he's centuries ahead of anything I could ever muster on the only instrument I've ever played... Some people are just naturals...
I especially liked the way Robben "tributed" several different artist's styles during his evening performance, showing how they influenced his own style. He's quite good!

Welcome to the forum. Yeah, Robben has humbled us all. It shames me, too, to admit how many years I've been playing and can't come even close that Robben's mastery. But I'm having a great time trying! Enjoy your time here.
