Let's see - Ojai's not too far from LA. Have you been to one of Robben's clinics? Put that with his two new dvd's, the .pdf file, and you've got material for days on end. Then hop a jet to Northern CA and attend Garth's master class in May.
I did attend Robben's master class in January (it was excellent!) and I'm going again in March. I also have the "Art of rhythm" DVD and I'm very impressed with how well done it is. As you say, all of that material is keeping me busy now and should sustain me for a while. I'm kind of bummed at the moment because last night I bought a gorgeous American deluxe strat only to find when I got it home (in the quiet of my home) that it has a horrible nut buzz on the 4th string! Gonna have to take it back but won't be able to get to the store for a couple of days. If you haven't played one, it has these amazing "Samerian cobalt noiseless" pick-ups that are very punchy and quieter than a humbucker. Impressive.

I'm also going to purchase Robben's Soloing DVD. I have most of his instructional items and they are all well done. I'm playing an old Gibson ES335, stock pickups, installed a blend in place of a volume control per Garth - sounds great. I also have a PRS custom.
