Hi, I wonder if anyone here has tried the Hao Rumble Mod pedal (http://www.musicalinstrumentprices.com/products_detail.htm?productId=3626).

Some claim it is the next best thing to expensive amps like Robben's Dumble and such.

Been wondering if I should get one to try it out... I use a Fender Blues Deluxe amp with a deluxe cabinet as an addition to broaden the sound some.

For extra drive I use a Marshal Drive Master. Pretty happy with this set up, but could sometimes wish for a bit fuller tone in the distortion department...

The guitars I mostly use are a Gibson ES335 and a Fender Strat with EMG pick-ups.

Careful, for once you step on this road...

There are literally dozens of overdrive pedals being marketed now that either their manufacturers or their proponents claim to get you the "Robben Ford/Dumble tone"... if you start searching around at sites like The Gear Page, you'll find folks that tout one over the other.

Robben himself uses the Hermida Audio Zendrive pedal when he plays through Super Reverbs and Twins. Many other pedals claim to get the same general sound, including the Jetter Gain Stage Red, Retroman DumBox, OL Circuits Umble, the Custom Tones Ethos, the Menatone Howie, the Barber Burn Unit, and the one you mentioned.
