I had the privilege of seeing Carlos Santana appear as a special guest with the Derek Trucks Band back on April 15th at the Regency Center Ballroom in San Francisco. This show was one of the musical highlights of my life (other's include McCoy Tyner/Stanley Clark/Billy Cobham at Yoshi's and the Blueline at Slim's in the '90s - Robben is a master!).
When I arrived at the show, I noticed a cream Dumble Overdrive Special atop an orange Mesa 4/12 cab. My intuition said Carlos Santana. Sure enough, he appeared in the upper balcony during the opening act (Jackie Green). Carlos sat in with the DTB and played for about 45 minutes. You can download the show at the link below. They played some great music including Allen Toussaint, Band of Gypsys, and Derek and the Dominos. I could write more, but the show speaks for itself IMHO.
