Many thanks to Daved for being so gracious in talking to a complete stranger. Made me feel right at home. Wait, I grew up no more than a 1/2 mile from the Halfshell in Roseburg. I was home. He gave me some new insight into the development of the Zendrive. Very cool.

Daved earns his keep guitar teching for Robben. The man has a sixth sense in knowing Robben's needs while performing. I was shocked to see Daved changing strings just minutes before show time. It appeared to be just the routine Daved follows.

Thank you Daved for taking the time to visit with myself and my son!

Daved mentioned he had a 3 knob Zendrive. A prototype from 2004. I know the Mosferatu was available as 3 knobber. This was the first I ever heard of a 3 knob Zendrive.

Alf had just sent Daved the new Reverb and Dual Boost pedals. Unsure if he has anything else stashed away for Robben to test. Maybe a Zen 2? The Reverb and Dual Boost were not used or setup at the show. Daved just showed them to me and my son.

I've been using the Reverb pedal for almost a month now. It doesn't do surf just a really nice verb.
