I was at the show last night. I thought the playing was amazing as usual. I thought Andy Hess played great, his tone and volume was great. I thought Toss Panos played great as well. In my opinion, the sound man is responsible for all my negatives. The vocals sounded weird. Almost like there was too much compression. I thought the guitar volume was too low. In addition, I could not hear the floor tom.

The last time Robben played in NYC he was at The Highline Ballroom. The sound was amazing. His guitar blew me away and I was in awe the entire night. The sound was so different to me last night than from his previous show I was wondering if Robben travels with his own sound man or does he use the sound man from each venue?
