made the trek down from ky......absoutely fantastic...first time i ever got to see robben and it was better than i expected it to be and i expected it to be awesome.....he is freaking amazing......like smooth butter on the fretboard. venue was packed and excited.
robben had a few surprise guests. brad paisley and vince gill came out at various times throughout the night and jammed and did a great job as well.....they all seemed to have a fun time jamming with each other.
overall, one of all time better concert experiences! |

I'm not a fan of country but I have heard and know of Brad Paisley through DrZ amps which he owns many (and I only one). Must've been guitar-sound heaven! _________________ Soul on Eleven |

I wasn't aware that Brad Paisley has a cover of "A Remark You Made." Are you sure you aren't mixing him up with Jerry Douglas? |

Wow, Gill and Paisley on stage in addition to Robben. That's a LOT of talent at one time. Very cool. |

A bit of an aside but still about country- there's a country artist named Junior Brown who also plays a mean guitar. I bought one of his cd's that has "Surf Medley", a great tune that's been on my iPod for years, but I couldn't listen to the rest... _________________ Soul on Eleven |

In French? ;-)
Jerry Douglas is the bomb - besides being the first call dobro guy his own albums are all eclectic as hell (he also covered Bill Frisell's "Lookout for Hope," in fact it was the title track of one of his albums) |
