Hope this wasn't brought up earlier (searched but found nothing, hence the post). Mr Ford is featured in a small interview in this months GP talking about tone and technique, with a small blurb on his equipment. It's nice to see him getting some well deserved press. It is in the issue that has Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day on the cover. The interview starts on page 46.

I read it yesterday. There's not much new there. He does say that the rhythm pickup on the Tele quit and he had Fralin rewind it. In a couple of other interviews he says it is the bridge pickup that was rewound.
