...it sounds like an F7 to me (tritone substitution for B7)...with the C note -on the B string- on top.

I think it might be an F7b5... sounds like the same chord that ends the form in the recording of "That Road" on the Larry Carlton/Robben Ford Live in Japan CD...

its not f7b5,but fmaj7-5-open b and e string[so fcfabe Idea

Thanks, loek, that sounds right, but the name of the chord is a little off - if it were an Fmaj7b5, it wouldn't have that low C in it, the regular fifth. Probably more accurate to call it Fmaj7#11, which implies the regular fifth with the raised eleventh (B) added to it...
