|

I heard a song on the radio today from Chris Cain's new CD, "So Many Miles" They played "East Football Fingerprints," the longest track on the CD. I think there are a few special guests on this cd too! I am grateful for a community radio station that plays most of my favorite artists. I can't wait to get the new CD.
I was hoping to see Chris Cain play when I went out to NorCal to see Robben & Ford Blues Band last summer, but Chris was on tour somewhere else. I hope he comes back to Florida again soon. _________________ Travelling by train of thought |

A new CD? I've got to get that. I was just listening to Hall of Shame last night. |

Got the CD and been listening to it. I have to say it's somewhat disappointing. Too many of the songs sound alike. IMO it's not up to the standard of his previous stuff. |

Someone else made the same comment, I think on the Amazon site. I just got the CD yesterday and I've listened just once.
It sounds like Chris Cain to me !
I enjoyed my first listen. The wail of Cain's guitar is why I love his music. I love his vocals too. And his songwriting. What's there not to love about this CD? _________________ Travelling by train of thought |

I love his playing and singing, too, but almost every song seems to start off the same. Other CDs from him weren't like that.

I really like it.
Guess I'm in the minority... _________________ I first started to play guitar 35 years ago... Trouble is, I had 20 years off in the middle. |
