For Sale 2002 Gene Baker B1C Robben Ford model guitar in Europe.
I bought the guitar about a year ago from the original owner in England.
It has a chambered Alder body/Spruce top, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware, Buzz Feiten tuning system, aged cherry finish. Original case with all of the extras (picks, strap-locks stickers etc.) All original paperwork.
This guitar was one of the first two built, and was completed together with Robben's black Baker B1C guitar.(see Photo from Gene's shop)
Serial # is 476.
It has a Seth Lover in neck and J.Beck in the bridge.
I emailed Gene Baker to ask why he called it a B1C, and he told me that it (and Robben's) were labeled as "B1C" until Robben formally approved the design.
Guitar is like new, I just had the frets leveled , no visual playing wear.
I am a player not a collector/dealer.
I prefer to send the guitar to someone in the European Union as it is much less complicated.
I am in northern Germany if the buyer wants to pick it up.
Price: €2900. (Euros)
I am sure that I have forgotten something, send me an email with any questions, but please serious inquiries only.
Thanks!

I'm not in the market for a new guitar, but you might consider posting some photos in the Open Discussion board.
Call me crazy, but I enjoy seeing cool guitars and how they were built. |
