Hey everybody!
I have some info on a new piece of gear coming down the line.
Right now one of the "usual suspects" is building an Ethos style pedal but with a full compliment of tubes (like a front end of an ODS).Yep the REAL DEAL!
It's going to have similar features and then some!
The layout will be the familiar D-style controls and switches.
Channel switching,boost ,compensated recording,headphone, remote footswitch
Optional features:mono/stereo powersection, reverb, facility for future upgrades.
SAME PRICE POINT.
Apparently it's still in development so If you have any feature requests let's hear it!
Seriously I would hold off on purchasing an Ethos especially if you are saving your pennies to get one.
It will be available later this year.
I don't know when there will be an official announcement all I know is that work has commenced and I want one!
I know,I know. First post and I come accross like a spamming pitchman I am not a vendor or recieving a benefit etc. I am just a stoked tone enthusiast.. I appreciate any tolerance you afford me.

I have removed your duplicate topic posts from other sections of the forum and left this thread here, being the "open discussion". As with most other forums we try and keep this great forum free from spamming and other topics which are commonly known to cause problems or offend.

Btw, you will find keen gear and tone hounds frequenting here, and there is a whole bunch of great information to be found on these topics, especially in the Daved Zone.

I understand. I don't want to be a disruptive element.
I'm not a vendor, nor am I disclosing anything specific like the vendor's name or the product. Nor am I at liberty to disclose that even if asked,not for legal reasons, just out of respect.
This is just something I got wind of that I personally have desired to see for along time,that represents excellent value for people and a better choice for artists. |
