Just want to let everyone know that all my RF guitars, including the Red Lady and a Flame Ultra are now on consignment in a local store here in Tokyo. I haven't played any of them in a long time and I mostly use archtops now anyway, so I decided to try to sell them and get some cash for my retirement ! Smile

Hi Bill,

it's a shame you have to let them go, but at least you have had the pleasure of playing/owning them. Good luck with the sales.

Cheers,

DD

The guitars will be sold at a store called Guitars Station in Shibuya, Tokyo. I wanted to avoid the hassle of trying to sell them overseas. Also, the strong yen would make them too expensive to buy outside of Japan. Putting them on consignment doesn't guarantee that they'll sell, but I hope they do. I'm trying to simplify my life in my old age, and a couple dozen less guitars would be a good start. Laughing

I was up to about 35 guitars at one point, and I'm slowly trying to get that down. I mostly play archtops now, and I just bought a 1952 ES-350 that I love. So it's time to clear out the closets.
